The economic crisis alongside a sharp drop in oil prices have caused a relative inflation in the prices of American brands for people in the United Emirates  "We used to pay 1 gallon of oil for a can of Coke. Now we pay double or triple that. If this trend continues we will go back to Peppermint Tea, and goodbye American brands!"
